Hereby the Keeper of the Norcal Keg launches the
First FT10 Northern California Keg Challenge 2008.
FT10 owners are challenged to the following regattas:
- May 3-4th, Great Vallejo Race
- June 7th, Delta Ditch Run
- June 27-29th, Long Beach Race Week (If all Norcal FT10s are participating)
- August 23-24th, RYC Sportboat Invitational
Each individual race will be scored with the low point system, and all the
race scores will count for the final Keg Challenge Score.
The winner will be awarded with the Norcal Keg filled with a superalcoholic
drink of choice of the current keeper. The name of the winner will be
inscribed in the Keg's stand.
The winner will become the new keeper, and be responsible to keep the keg
full, challenge the fleet, and coordinate the calendar for the following
year.
So drink up me hearties! The capt'ms on deck, the wind favors us, and even
bilge rats can get to the grog!
