12/7/05 Class Org Meeting Minutes

The team is deep into the Class Rules:

Much discussion on: (section numbers reference ISAF template)

1. Section C10 General sail usage, things like sail numbers, repairs etc - specifics on sail purchase are pending future discussions on sail material & sizing.
2. Section D1 hull parts - head is mandatory, cushions, stove, ice chest optional.
3. Section D9 assembled hull - discussed allowing factory deck hardware "or equivalent", windward sheeting upgrade, and investigating whether we allow jib control car upgrade from the standard pin stops (did you know M32 class rules requires pinstops?)

We adjourned after 2.5 hrs of very constructive discussion. The updated draft will be reviewed within the rules team for further refeinement.

We are on track to getting this done by the time the first production boats hit.
